News Death Notice

GOODRICH, Patricia Ann 87, of Springfield, died Tuesday March 5, 2013, in Oakwood Village. She was born June 22, 1925, in Lakewood, Ohio, the daughter of Edwin H. and Edna Mae (Holmes) Austin. She was a graduate of Mt. Marie High School in Canton, Ohio, and Ohio Wesleyan University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was a past member of the Polo Club, Springfield Country Club, Young Women's Mission, Community Hospital Auxiliary, Women's Town Club, Springfield Museum of Art, and the Art in the Hospital Program. Survivors include her daughter Debra A. Oldham of Dublin; son and daughter-in-law, Hal and Beth Goodrich of Springfield; four grandchildren, Anne Elizabeth "Betsy" (Jeff) McLaughlin of Northfield, Minnesota; Patricia D. "Trish" Goodrich and Brent Bash of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Austin S. Oldham and fiancé Laura Poplewski of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Brian D. (Sara) Oldham of Columbus; five great-grandchildren, Edith D. McLaughlin, William D. McLaughlin, Anna J. Bash, Otto R. Bash, and Hudson A. Oldham; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John H. Goodrich. Private services will be held with the Rev. Raymond Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
