STOKES, Joseph Vincent 88, of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on the morning of April 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ethne Mary. He is survived by his brother, William; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; and many grandnieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II and made a career as a commercial artist in advertising. His hobbies included art and travel. Mass will be at St. Jude the Apostle Chapel Friday April 19th at 9:30 am with graveside service immediately afterward at Memorial Park.
