SIMMONS, Barbara J.  
SIMMONS, Barbara J. The family of Barbara J. Simmons is sad to announce the passing of this wonderful, loving and beautiful woman Thursday July 9, 2015 at the age of 81. Barbara was an inspiration, a devoted and faithful friend, aunt, and cousin, and a joy to all who knew and love her. She was a recent resident of St. Petersburg and a member of The Bethel Community Baptist Church. Barbara loved the arts with a special affection for dance, which she studied and taught throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Simmons; her parents, Nathaniel and Mabel Ford; and one grandson, Marcus Hooks. She leaves to mourn her beloved children, Michael Hooks (Evelyn), Stephen Hooks (Tracee), Joy Hooks, Barbara Milam (Steve), Anna Simmons, Donna Simmons; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will honor her in tribute at a date to be announced.

SCHOENBORN, Alberta Jean 74, passed away July 21, 2015. She was born June 30, 1941 in Tampa, to the late Albert and Francis (Danch) Daubar. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son, Robert Schoenborn and nephew, George Daubar. Alberta was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough County. She was a Methodist and loved to read, grow roses, and work in the yard. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, R. Joel Schoenborn; daughter, Paige Daubar of Tampa; son, Scott Schoenborn and his wife Jaime of Sacramento, CA; brothers, George Daubar, and his wife, Peggy of Tampa, and Albert Daubar, and his wife, Mariam of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Ryan and Riley; and one great-granddaughter, Eliana. SHERWINSKY, Rosalie B. 87, of Tampa, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, in Tampa. Rosalie was born January 20, 1928 in Pittston, PA, to Zenon Bartush and Margaret (Paltanavage) Bartush. She was a homemaker who loved to take care of her family. Mrs. Sherwinsky was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tampa. She enjoyed playing cards, shopping and travel. Rosalie married Victor L. Sherwinsky on January 18, 1954; he preceded her in death May 8, 2008. Survivors include daughters Helen Craig, Diane Newberger, Elayne Powers, Margaret Stoffer (son-in-law, Jim Stoffer), and Donna Gillis (son-in-law, Chris Gillis); grandchildren, Adam, Timothy and Kathleen Craig, Mariann, Sara, and Emily Newberger; and three great-grandchildren, Jesse, Juliette, and Caleb. Friends and family are invited to gather from 3:30 to 5:30 pm (Rosary at 5 pm) Wednesday, July 29, at Brewer and Sons Funeral Home, 3328 S. Dale Mabry, Tampa, 33629. A funeral mass for Mrs. Sherwinsky will be held at 10 am Thursday, July 30, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 4522 S. Manhattan Ave, Tampa 33611, with burial to follow at 12:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Flowers will be accepted or a donation may be made to Saint Patrick's Catholic Church.

STANSBURY, Graham Potts  
STANSBURY, Graham Potts 92, of St. Petersburg, passed away peacefully July 22, 2015 at Hospice Woodside. He was born in Denver, CO to Paul S. and Margaret G. Stansbury. He moved to St. Petersburg in 1925, attended St. Petersburg High School (1941) and University of Florida Law School (1949). He served in the United States Army in WWII. Graham practiced law in St. Petersburg and developed land in Sylva, NC. He was an avid pilot and boater and member of the St. Pete Yacht Club. Predeceased by his wife Helen and his older sister Deborah. Graham is survived by his children, Paul S. Stansbury (Nancy), Gwen S. Porch (David), and Randy M. Stansbury (Brenda). He was a beloved grandfather to his grandchildren, Michelle Long, John Stansbury, Kathryn S. Porch, Stephanie S. Porch, Erica S. Elms, Alexis Stansbury and four great-grandchildren. He loved life and really lived it! Services will be held at another time and date.
