TANNER, Roger Ray Jr. "Boe" 67, was called to be with the Lord, Dec. 19, 2014. Boe was born in Lakeland and was retired from the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department and was a proud Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Carol; 2 children, Kimberly and Travis; and grandson, Giovanni; sisters, Frances Boxx, Faye McCune, Linda Boles, April (Mildred) Evans, and Shirley Perrine; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private and memorial donations are suggested to Marliere Hospice, 6801 Rowan Rd., New Port Richey, FL 34663.

TATRAI-RAY, Rochelle 46, CEO of Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014. She was the beloved daughter of Gai Linn Daley Tatrai and Louis Tatrai. She is survived by her two daughters, Marisa and Selena Ray; two sisters, Gai-Linn Sitta and Dana Febbraro; and three nieces, Lauren and Brynn Sitta and Maria Febbraro. She was born June 20, 1968 in Pittsburgh, PA. Rochelle was the salutatorian of the 1986 class of Charleroi Area High School. She graduated with honors from Washington and Jefferson College with a B.A. She also received her MA with honors from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She was a licensed mental health therapist. Rochelle started her career as an instructor at Westmoreland Community College, Carlow College and Duquesne University in Pennsylvania. Then she became the supervisor at Family Based Mental Health. She went on to become program director for behavioral health rehabilitation services. She moved to Florida in 2003 to become the clinical administer at Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services, where she later became COO. At the time of her death, she was the chief executive officer of Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services.Rochelle was a frequent public speaker and advocate for children's and mental health policies. She has presented at numerous state, national and international conferences, including SAMHSA's National GAINS conference, Creating Effective Services in Washington, D.C.; and the Association of Jewish Family and Children's Agencies International Conference in Montreal. She co-presented at the National Consortium of Torture Treatment Programs at the National Conference in Washington, D.C. Most recently, she had been advocating for additional funding for Hernando County to help troubled individuals find employment to allow them to provide support to their children. She successfully advocated to allow services to be provided in Pasco County to unaccompanied children from Central America. She established a number of advisory boards to engage key stakeholders in advocacy efforts for the disadvantaged, including those with mental illness, refugees, and our local Jewish community. Rochelle was a member of the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network board, and a member of HUD Housing EGRET-HERON board. She was a founding member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority at Washington and Jefferson College. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at Temple Beth-El, 400 Pasadena Ave. S., St. Petersburg. Further services and burial will be in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a college trust fund for Rochelle's daughters, which is being established at Bank of America or to a fund in Rochelle's name at Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services. TELFORD Jr., Elliott A.  
TELFORD, Elliott A. Jr. age 78, of Plant City, passed away at home Dec. 18, 2014. Elliott was an Army Veteran and a long time member of the local Rotary and Elks Club. He was also the opening manager of Grants, Plant City's first department store. He is predeceased by parents, Elliott and Kathryn Telford, first wife, Dorothy Telford; sister, Kitty Lopez; and grandson, Joey Helton. Loving family who survive are wife of 18 years, Edna Earl Telford; son, Scott (Angela) Telford; daughter, Laura Telford; sons, Dennis (Karen) Helton, Donny (Alega) Helton, daughter, Brenda (Wayne) Moss; brother, Tom (Eileen) Telford; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be on Monday, Dec. 22, 2 pm, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Plant City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to pulmonary fibrosis. THOMPSON, Mary Rose Homegoing celebration for Ms. Thompson, 62, of Tampa, who passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, at 10 am, at Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605, Apostle Mark Jones, Pastor, officiating. She showed love regardless of who you were. She felt blessed when in the presence of her seven children. Her testimony alone changed the lives of her children and grandchildren. She once earned the Good Samaritan Award for saving another life. Her kids and other family friends were blessed to have such an angel in their lives. Survived by mother, Thelma Hamilton; children, Lawrence Hamilton, Robert George, Sharon Anderson and husband, Darrell Anderson; Shameka Galloway, Veronica Perkins and husband, Greggory Perkins, Lola Thompson and Sandie Thompson; and other relatives and friends.
