BAKER, Anita Mae Hooker (Williams) died peacefully at home Jan. 18, 2015 in St Petersburg, at the age of 84. Anita is survived by her sister, Jean Chapman of St Petersburg; grandchildren, Robert and John Pringle of St Petersburg, Steven Bender of Gainesville, NY, Nicole Parkhurst, of East Bethany, NY, and Kristin Luxon of Dansville, NY; 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baker, of Warsaw, NY; sister, Charmaine Smith, of St. Augustine, FL; son, Steven Hooker, of Warsaw, NY; daughter, Pam Young, of Gainesville, NY. Anita was born Dec. 16, 1930 in Warsaw, NY to Vivian and Arthur Williams. She married John Hooker in 1948 and raised her family in Wyoming, NY. After the death of husband, Robert in 1978 she moved to Tampa Bay. A memorial is scheduled for 2 pm Jan. 31 at Walsingham Park. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Anita's life.

BARTA, Cherye L. age 76, of Tampa, passed away on Jan. 19, 2015. A beloved grandmother, she joins her son, Daniel Carlton Barta who is also with our Lord. Cherye was kind and generous of heart. She was an avid reader, and shared her wisdom, warm smile and soft hugs for everyone she loved. Cherye is survived by her grandson, Daniel Carlton Barta Jr.; granddaughter, Amy Moseley; and her daughter-in-law, Dora Barta. BEGGS, Phyllis  
BEGGS, Phyllis age 89, of Seminole, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015. After a short illness with pneumonia, her heart gave out. Phyllis grew up in Painesville, OH, to loving parents and family of three sisters and two brothers. She married Bill Beggs in 1946 and they moved to St. Petersburg. Together they began an automotive business, Phyllis running the financial departments. They sold and retired together in 1982. Their time in their golden years was spent boating, traveling, and enjoying family and friends. Phyllis loved her family, her long time friendships and her home. Her spirit had a unique impact on everyone who knew her. In challenging times she was always the optimist. She enjoyed the blessings of her two daughters, Chris and Patti; daughter-in-law, Gina; and son, Bill Jr.; her two grandchildren, Jay and Cassie; son-in-law, Larry; and her two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Reese. She was our rock, always helping however she could. She was an amazing, inspiring, beautiful, funny, kind and generous woman. She was preceded in death by her beloved son; and survived by her immediate family and sister, Eleanor Hawk; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, Jan. 26, at 3 pm, in the Gathering Room at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774, (727)562-2080.
