BROWN, Mark Alan  
BROWN, Mark Alan 40, of Tampa, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2014. He was born in Tulsa, OK, and raised in Plano, TX. Mark was a 1992 graduate of Coppell High School, then, in 1997, he earned his degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech, he became a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Following graduation, Mark moved to Florida and was employed at Price, Waterhouse, Coopers for 12 years. At the time of his death, Mark was the CIO of Data Balance in Tampa. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Plano, TX, where he grew up, and attended Grace Family Church in Lutz. Mark is survived by his father and stepmother, David E. Brown and Judy Brown of Coppell, TX; his mother and stepfather, Cynthia Vinnedge Schnaufer and Robert Schnaufer of Newkirk, OK; sisters, Rebecca Singleton, and husband, John, of Frederick, CO, Deborah Cruz of Yukon, OK; step sister, Melissa Banzhaf, and husband, Dr. Spencer, of Atlanta, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mark is also survived by his loving fiance;e, Jami Cox, of Tampa. A Memorial Service will be held at Hackberry Creek Church at 2000 Kinwest Parkway in Irving, TX 75063, on Jan. 17, 2015 at 10 am. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Tampa Pitcher Show at 14416 N. Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa, FL 33618, Dec. 20, 2 pm, ( www.tampapitchershow.net ). W. D. Sims, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Survived by husband, Tracy Brown; children, Theresa Daniels, Samuel E. Thomas, Michael E. Brown and Kesia L. BRYANT, Margaret Bennett "Mogie"  
BRYANT, Margaret Bennett "Mogie" 89, of Safety Harbor, formerly of St. Petersburg and Tampa, peacefully passed away at home on Dec. 12, 2014. Born in Des Moines, IA, she moved to Tampa at an early age. She was a cheerleader at Plant High School and attended Florida State University. She studied dance in New York City with such famous teachers as June Taylor, Robert Joffrey, Luigi, Gus Giordano, David Howard and many others. After moving to St. Petersburg, she owned and directed the Bryant-Jacobsen Studio of Dance, which was renamed the St. Petersburg School of Ballet and Dance Arts. She directed the St. Petersburg Concert Ballet which became the St. Petersburg Dance Theatre. A long time member of Dance Masters of America, she would take students to many conventions where they could learn from famous and master dance instructors and choreographers. She retired in 1992. Survivors include her daughter, Shel Bryant-Berg, and her husband, Ken Berg; her granddaughter, Liza Jaine French and her husband, Jonathan French; her great-grandson, Wyatt Hadrian French; her nephew, Michael Bryant; and her two nieces, Betsy Bryant and Katy Bryant. BUCHER, Bernice  
BUCHER, Bernice 94, of Hudson, died on Sunday Dec. 14, 2014 at home. Born in Lancaster, PA, she received her Nursing diploma from St Joseph's Nursing School, her BSN from Boston College, and MSN from U of Penn in Psychiatric Nursing. She served honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. Among other stations, she was a Neuropsych Nursing Director at Bethesda Naval Hospital (now Walter Reed Medical Center). After retiring from the Navy, she was a Nursing Director at PA Hospital in Philadelphia and St Joseph's and Lancaster General Hospitals in Lancaster, PA. She ended her professional career as a surveyor for The Joint Commission. Afterward she pursued her favorite sport of golf with her many friends at Meadow Oaks Golf Club. Bernice is survived by a sister, Carmel Joyce of North Carolina; many nieces, nephews, their children; and her faithful caregiver Lynn Pitney of Hudson. Bernice is preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Wallace and Richard. Henry was a Deacon at St Michael's Catholic Church in Hudson. A Catholic service will be held in North Carolina. A military burial honoring Bernice's life will be held the first week of March at the National Military Cemetery in Bushnell.

BYRUM, Mildred 91, of Tampa, entered into rest Dec. 15, 2014. She worked as a cashier for Woolworth for 30+ years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Byrum and parents, Walter and Bonnie Austin. Mildred is survived by her son, Walter Byrum (Donna); daughter, Lynn Ugarte; grandchildren, Tahitia Brooks (Tim), Daniel Balzarotti (Lisa), Tiffany Byrum, Ashley Byrum, Travis Ugarte (Rachel); and great-grandchildren, Daniel Balzarotti Jr., Brendan Balzarotti, Lila Brooks, Devin Brooks, Jordyn Timko, and baby Ugrarte who will be arriving in June. Visitation will be held 1-3 pm Saturday, Dec. 20, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, with a graveside service to follow immediately at 3 pm.
