ANDERSON, Walter "Frank"  
ANDERSON, Walter "Frank" 86, was called home to Heaven May 23, 2016. Born in Meridian, MS, he was preceded in death by his son, Rev. Lowry Anderson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Willene; brother, Hayward Anderson; daughter-in-law, Kandi; stepchildren, Hubert Brooks (Nancy) and Jan Darrigo (Carl); seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Frank owned Frank Anderson's Sales & Service, a commercial construction business for over 25 years that built feed plants, and was also owner of Frank's Auto Sales for over 10 years. Frank had been a trustee in the Church of God and dearly loved gospel music. He had a passion of traveling and a love for all sports, especially golf and fishing. Family and friends getting together was always special to him. Frank served in the U.S. Navy. He always had a twinkle in his eyes, quick wit and a great sense of humor. His family and friends will dearly miss him. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10:00 am Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Avenue, Tampa. ARNOLD, Edith Rousseau "Joyce" 85, of Lakeland, stepped into the arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior, May 1, 2016. She was a resident of the Colonnades in Lakeland, since 2005 and was a member of Highland Park Church of the Nazarene. Ms. Arnold is survived by her four children, Larry, Mikell, Yvonne, Lucretia; three grandchildren, Michelle, Cameron, Noelle; three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Stephanie, Breanna; and one great-great-grandchild, Roselynn. A funeral service will be at Wells Memorial Funeral Home in Plant City Wednesday, June 1, 12 pm with Pastor Dave Smith from Highland Park Church of the Nazarene officiating. BECHTOLD, Henry  
BECHTOLD, Henry J. 87, died May 26, 2016 in St. Petersburg. Born and raised in Woodside, NY, Henry (Hank) moved to St. Petersburg in 1987 after early retirement, serving over two decades at RCA Corporation, New York, where his last position held was Vice President, News and Information. Prior to RCA, he worked for United Press International in NYC for 16 years and was the financial news editor from 1959 to 1961. Hank served in the United States Army during the Korean War with the 40th infantry division. He was a founding father of the Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club, St. Petersburg, serving as the first president in 1991. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Beatrice; and by his two daughters, Ann Burke (William) of Bradenton and Dawn Powell (David) of Scarsdale, NY; son, Richard Bechtold; his seven grandchildren, Carolyn, Joy, Faith, Brian, Pam, Jennifer, and Greg; and by his four great-grandchildren, Josh, Nate, Lola, and Jayce. A Memorial Service will be held for Hank Tuesday, May 31 at 10 am at Blessed Trinity Church, St. Petersburg.

BIE, Katherine "Kit" (Berriman)  
BIE, Katherine (Berriman) "Kit" 86, died at her home on Indian Rocks Beach, Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born Aug. 4, 1929, to Edward Wood and Nancy Lee (Morris) Berriman in Tampa. Kit was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Nancy " Nan" Berriman Beriman German; and a brother, Edward Wood "Ted" Berriman. Kit attended Academy of The Holy Names, Woodrow Wilson Jr. High School, and Plant High School in Tampa. She graduated from Pine Manor College in Wellsley, MA. Active in civic affairs, she was a maid in the Gasparilla Festival in Tampa, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Kit met Norman Bie Jr. of Tampa when she was in the 2nd grade and he was in the 4th grade, at the Academy of The Holy Names. She married Norman Bie Jr, a Second Lt. in the USAF, July 17, 1951, at Christ the King Church in Tampa. His service in the U.S. Air Force led them to Massachusetts and Germany returning to the U.S. in 1959. Kit and Norman have three children, Norman Bie III, Edward Beriman Bie, and Nancy Lee Bie. Edward has two daughters, Linzy Bie and Taylor Bie; Nancy has two sons, Rylee Ravenscroft and Ryder Ravenscroft. Kit is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews. Friends are calling Tuesday, May 31, 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at Serenity Funeral Home, Largo, 727-562-2080. Funeral Services will be held at St Jerome Catholic Church, Largo, Wednesday, June 1, 11 am, with burial to follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
