STORY, Keith A. age 60, died in Hospice care, on Sunday, May 1, 2016. He came as a youth with family from Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Vestal; brother, Roger; and survived by two sisters, Juanita and Renee; brother, David; his daughter, Alison; and his lifelong friends, Darrell and Sarah.

SUTTLE, Thomas R.  
SUTTLE, Thomas R. 89, passed away April 30, 2016 at the Melech Hospice House in Tampa. He was born July 20, 1926 in Newport News, VA, to the late George and Louise Suttle. Tom joined the army at age 18, serving time in Korea and the Philippines. Upon his return he began a 40-year career in hardware sales, eventually owning his own store. His inherent passion and talent was fixing anything broken. The expression "give it to Grandpa, he'll fix it!" will be remembered by those who loved him as his legacy. The second of five children, Tom was predeceased by brothers, Charlie, and George; and his sister, Marian. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Dorothy (Dot) Suttle; daughter, Jeanne Seaberg (Greg) of Tampa; sons, Richard (Lydia), David (Kelly) of Newport News, VA; grandchildren, Adam Suttle (Naomi), Samantha and Cody Suttle, Ben (Danielle), Sam and Zach Seaberg; great-grandchildren, Siena and Sydney Seaberg. Also survived by his loving sister, Doris Kinder (Ray); special friends, Donna, Jay and Kasey Wishart; as well as a host of other friends and neighbors from University Village. ABDULLAH, Abdur Rahim "Mack"  
ABDULLAH, Abdur Rahim "Mack" A Homecoming Celebration for him "aka Curtis McFarland, Sr." of Tampa, who passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, will be held on Saturday, May 7, 4 pm at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Abdur was born Sept. 16, 1935 in Orlando to the late Handsome and Minnie (Siplin) McFarland. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He married his wife of 57 years, Ella. He moved to Tampa, in 1987 and was in his 47th year of his career that he loved so much. He owned "Mack's Barbershop" and served faithfully his customers until he was no longer able to continue. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Curtis McFarland "Chip", Jr.; four brothers, Floyd, Tommy, Sylvester, and Carl McFarland; two sisters, Ida Smith and Shirley Peterson. He leaves to cherish his devoted and loving wife, Ella McFarland; children, Aisha McFarland-Dyer, San Diego, CA, Waleed McFarland, Tampa, Lanny Nelson, Melbourne and Nadja "Nikki" Justice, Rochester, NY; brothers, James "Sonny" McFarland, Titusville and William"Micheal" McFarland, Tampa; sisters, Barbara McAlister, Rochester, NY and Glenda Thomas (Hezekiah), Tampa, ; special cousin, Fritz Spence (Joyce); best friend, Harold Jackson, and other family and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Saturday, May 7 from 3-4 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the services.

ADAMS, Robert E. "Bob"  
ADAMS, Robert E. "Bob" 86, a lifelong Tampa resident, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Bob attended the University of Florida and graduated from Florida State University where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. After college, he served as Cadre in the United States Army First Airborne Infantry Training Regime and in the Military Police during the Korean Conflict. After the military, he became Vice President of the Tampa Federal Savings and Loan Association. A few years later he moved to Lakeland to become President and Chairman of the Lakeland Federal Savings and Loan Association. After returning to Tampa, he continued to work in the banking and mortgage banking business. Bob was also involved in community and religious organizations. He was Chairman of the Polk County Heart Fund, a director of the Children's Home, Inc., Vice Chairman of the Family Services Association of Tampa, and a member of the Board of Fellows for the University of Tampa. He was also past president of the Exchange Club of Tampa, past secretary and director and an Emeritus member of the Merrymakers Club, president of the Tampa Council of the Navy League, a 50-year member of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, a member of the Tampa Yacht and County Club, the Hillsborough Lodge F&AM, the Scottish Rite, and the Egypt Temple Shrine. He was a former member of the Lone Palm Golf Club, the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club, and the University Club. Bob was a member of Hyde Park United Methodist Church where he was a Lay Leader, a Trustee, and sang in the choir. He also attended Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir. More important to Bob than his business and civic pursuits, was his love of others. He enjoyed meeting and being with people. His quick wit and warm smile earned him the nickname 'Friendly Bob.' He was predeceased by his wife, Sara Adams; his brother, Albert L. Adams Jr.; and his sister, Vivian Adams Walls. He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Ennis (Hank); and his granddaughters, Sara Katherine and Margo Ennis; in addition to several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at 11 am, Thursday, May 5, at Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 W. Platt Street, Tampa, with the Rev. Vicki Walker officiating. A private family interment was held at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Sunday, May 1. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hyde Park United Methodist Church, Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, or a charity of your choice.
