Frank Edward COX

COX, Frank Edward 87, of Tampa, passed away on Jan. 20, 2013. Born in Clinton, SC, in 1925, Frank faithfully served 30 years in the USMC. He also served 30 years as Deacon in his church. He is a 2010 inductee in Laurens County, SC, Hall of Heroes and a 32nd degree Mason. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and neighbor. Survivors include Ann, his wife of 64 years; children, Steve, Jeff, Regie and Stephanie; 14 grandchildren; & 17 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 from 6-8 pm, at the Blount & Curry, Carrollwood Chapel. The Funeral service will take place on Friday, Jan. 25th, 10 am at Idlewild Baptist Church, Lutz. Interment with military honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Frank's legacy would be that of "There Is Hope" John 3:16-17. Frank's one request was to Walk in Perfect Oneness with Jesus Christ. He was an amazing Godly example to all who knew him.
