Henry George LARVIA Jr.

LARVIA, Henry George Jr. 87, of Largo, FL passed away peacefully Aug. 19, 2013, formally of La-tham, NY and was born in Plattsburg on Sept. 26, 1925. He was a proud Army Air Force veteran of WWII and served proudly at Hickam Air Force base in Hawaii during the war for the Pacific. He was later married in 1947 to his wife of 65 years, Jean. Following the war Henry worked for the New York telephone company where he retired. When they moved to Florida in 1979 Henry worked for the Freedom Square complex in Seminole. He loved to go fishing and camping and also loved using technology and his computer to skype with his family. Henry or "Uncle Hank" as he was known by the rest of the family will be greatly missed. He is predeceased by his brothers Thomas & Clifford Larvia; sister, Ethel Preteau; son, Robert Larvia; and grandson, Timothy. Survivors include his wife, Jean M. Larvia; son, Edward Larvia; daughters Patricia Ruhtz & Donna Chap-ple; grandchildren, Lori, Christi, Eric, David, Brian and Heidi; great-grandchildren, Emily, Brandon, Andrew, Matthew, Ashton, Breanna, Ivy, Morgan, Jason, Alexis and Braxton.
