James S. RENNEY Sr.

RENNEY, James S. Sr. 82, passed away Friday, Jan, 3, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. After honorably serving his country for 22 years in the United States Army, he began working for the United States Postal Service. He was also very active with the Gulf Ridge Boy Scout Council and served as a scout commissioner for many years. Upon completion of his 32nd year of service, he retired to enjoy his children, grandchildren, and friends. He was a member of First Reformed Church of Tampa and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife Diana; children, James Renney (Carla), Colette Robitaille (Adam), Melissa Charlton (Edward), Tom Charlton (Sue), and Steven Renney; his loving grandchildren, Matthew Renney (Crimson), Calli Charlton, Christina Renney (Chris), James Robitaille, and Dakota Robitaille; special family, Jeff Chapman, Brett Truitt, Steve and Molly Charlton, Gloria Ramirez, and Jack Brock, as well as numerous friends. Funeral services to be held at First Reformed Church of Tampa on Jan. 7, 2014 at 11 am with visitation to be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at Blount & Curry Oldsmar Chapel.
