HALVORSEN, John Charles 64, of Tarpon Springs, passed away on Jan. 1, 2013, with his family by his side. He served as a Marine in the Vietnam War, and was a devoted husband and father. Survivors include his soul mate, Francine Marie Halvorsen; his daughters, Jennifer Painter and Heidi Filali, their spouses, Robert Painter and Younes Filali, and two grandchildren, Hayley and Alex Painter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a mass be said in John's name.
