Roxanne C. MORGAN

MORGAN, Roxanne Clark 53, beloved wife, loyal friend, admired supervisor and extraordinary journalist, died Oct. 14, 2012, in Ely, NV. Roxanne was born Nov. 24, 1958, in Tarpon Springs to Ronald and Geraldine (Duffy) Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Steve; brother Ronald; sister Nancy Hildebrand; nieces and nephews. Growing up, Roxanne attended the First Church of Christ Scientist. She graduated from Tarpon Springs High in 1976. While in high school, she worked as a copy girl at the Clearwater Sun newspaper, her first job in an industry to which she devoted much of her life. Roxanne met Steve in 1980 while he was visiting his best friend, who had moved to Florida and was dating Roxanne's best friend. Roxanne moved to Indianapolis to be with Steve in 1981 and got a job at The Indianapolis Star, where she worked until her death. Roxanne and Steve were married Aug. 12, 1986.
