CLEMENTS, Roy W. 87, of Hudson, FL died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 of acute leukemia at his residence with his family close by. Roy lived most of his life in the Northern Kentucky area, where he married his wife of 65 years, Mary Jane. They retired to the Hudson area in 1991. Over the past 23 years, he lived in the Estates and was a longtime member of the Links Golf Club. Every morning his garage door would open and a group of neighbors would congregate to discuss issues from the neighborhood to the world. He was devoted to and happiest when spending time with his family. His ideal day would be entertaining his wife, children and grandchildren, going out to dinner and picking up the check. Roy leaves behind his wife, Jane; three sons, Greg (Sue), Curt (Vicki) and Todd (Laurie); 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Burial will be in Northern Kentucky. Local viewing will be on Saturday 2-4 pm at Dobies FH-Hudson, 9944 Hudson Ave., with service at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to HPH Hospice.
