Ruther B. MANSFIELD

MANSFIELD, Ruther B. was born on Nov. 25, 1923 in Preston, GA, to Eddy Grimm & Essie Mansfield. He passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at the age of 88. Mr. Mansfield served in the United States Army during World War II and he was a faithful member of the 20th Street Church of Christ for over 60 years. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years of employment. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving & caring wife, Eloise Mansfield; two sons, Harry Mansfield (Brenda) and Ralph Mansfield both of St. Petersburg; 1 daughter, Sabrina Jackson of Haines City; 4 grandchildren, Reginald Mansfield (Trenita) & Osheanna Mansfield of St. Petersburg, Danila Jackson of Haines City, and Keshonda Walker of Jersey City, NJ; one aunt, Lucille Dancil of Jacksonville; several nieces & nephews, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Public Viewing will be held on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 from 4-8 pm at Lawson Funeral Home, 4535 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, and Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24th, 1 pm at 20th Street Church of Christ, at 825 20th Street South, St. Petersburg.
