TOLBERT, Arthur L. Sr.

of Tampa, passed away on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 21, at 11 am, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 2002 N. Rome Ave., with Rev. Dr. C. T. Kirkland, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lucy Gano Tolbert; wife, Marise Tolbert; daughters, Yvonne Tolbert, Doris Smith, and Joyce Johns; son, William Walker; stepmother, Rebecca Tolbert; sisters, Roberta Brown, Lonnie Russell, Molly Morgan, Bobbie Rigsby and Dorothy Stafford; brothers, Freddie Tolbert, Marcellus Tolbert Sr. Survived by daughter and caregiver, Deborah Caldwell (Donald), Earnestine Riley (Joseph); three caring sons, Arthur Tolbert (Wanda), Lorenzo Tolbert (Mildred), Alton Walker (Margaret); sister, Jessie Smith; brothers, Charlie C. Tolbert, Charlie James Tolbert; grands, retired NFL player, Donald "Reche" Caldwell (Sherron), Denver Broncos wide receiver, Andre Caldwell (Niche'), Sabrina Lewis (Gordon), Eric Walker (Mary), Angel Smith (Gerald), Tamika Prevost, Alton Walker Jr., Shandora Bunts, Angel Tolbert, Donna Tolbert, Donte Tolbert; 40 greats; 10 great-greats; family and friends. Remains repose after 5 pm, Friday, Nov. 20, family will receive friends 6-7 pm, at the chapel of Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. Family and friends are asked to please meet at church at approximately 10:45 am, Saturday morning. Arrangements entrusted to Ray Williams Funeral Home, Rhodes & Northern, Owners.
