I got to know Lori in 2000 when we trained together for the Hops Marathon with Tampa Bay Fit. (We were pushing our littlest ones in jog strollers then.) Lori knew how to tell a story, and her energy and smiles kept us going on those long, early morning runs.
In recent years we would bump into each other at races... she was easy to spot, always laughing and full of energy! We would marvel at the time that had flown by, and at the amazing people our children were becoming. It is heartbreaking to learn of her passing. Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers for your family.

I was a mom with Lori at LCC Day School. She was a warm, bright energetic lady who really knew how to put the FUN in any school FUNction! She will be missed. To Troy and children, especially Billy, may your happy memories help heal your hearts.

Our families were very close friends of Troy and Lori. We were roommates and best friends while Troy and I attended Stetson University College of Law. We both graduated and entered the real world at the same time. Lori was a beautiful and very practical lady. She alway had a quick smile and a way ofnmaking everyone feel comfortable. She was a great friend, a great mom, and a great wife to Troy. The world will never be the same without her. We will always miss her. She was one of a kind. . Mike and Caras Brundage and family

Troy, Lana, Ricky, Dick and kids. Lori was a once in a lifetime friend. I cherish the memories that I have of our time together. No matter how much time passed between the years, we continued on as if we just said goodbye as we walked home from the school bus. Lori had a way of sharing hope, love and joy. She will be deeply missed although she will always be in my heart and soul. I was so grateful that Lori, Lana and Susanna made it to the "Greenridge reunion". We were the "Thundering Herd" one more time!

Yes Lori was such an AMAZING woman to all who knew her. For every life she touched, she truly made a difference. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. We came to know Lori and Troy through the St. Pete Raiders soccer team where our son Cameron and Jake played for many years. We have many memories of those special times and were so blessed to have Lori in our lives! We honor her amazing life as we continue to celebrate her memory. How lucky our family was to have two of our three boys have Lori Crotts as a teacher in their early grade school years at Childs Park Fundemental. Such a beautiful, thoughtful, and great teacher. We are sorry for her passing and our sympathy to the Crotts family.

Lori was indeed exceptional. My daughter was blessed to have her as her second grade teacher. She was gifted and above all a loving teacher. Our lives were enriched by sharing that time with Lori.
