Bill CROZIER Obituary

CROZIER, Bill 82, of Sun City Center, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Sun City Center Hospice House due to complications from cancer. Born June 2, 1931, in Southhampton, Long Island, NY, he lived in East Hampton with his parents, Robert William and Evelyn Card Crozier, and his oldest brother, Robert Bruce Crozier. He attended East Hampton High School from 1945-49. After high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Andrew's AFB, Washington, DC. He attended Farm-ingdale State College, NY, wh-ere he studied to be a Registered Land Surveyor (#2018). He worked for a Civil Engineer in Montauk, NY, before moving to Miami where he began working for Metro-Dade County as a Land Surveyor in the Public Works Division from 1959 until he retired Feb. 1, 1996. He was married July 3, 1959, to his wife of 54 years, Marie Graham Crozier. He had two children, Gordon Crozier and Diane Crozier Peterson, who grew up in their Pembroke Pines home where he lived for 25 years. Bill was a devout Episcopalian who loved his family, and was especially proud of his 7 grandchildren, Gordon Crozier Jr., Ryan Croz-ier, Coleman Crozier, Grayson Crozier, Jackson Crozier, Justin Peterson and Cheyenne Peterson. Bill was a respected Boy Scout Leader of Troop #636 in Pembroke Pines, and enjoyed outdoor activities, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing and working outside in his yard.
