Alverta Beaudet

BEAUDET, Alverta 86, of Clearwater passed away at her home May 12, 2011. She was born in Shamokin, PA and has been a Florida resident since 1972, coming from Glen Burnie, MD. She was employed as a claims administrator for the Department of Veterans Affairs with 30 years of dedicated service. Mrs. Beaudet was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Largo and the National Assoc of Retired Federal Employees. She enjoyed bowling, golf, and was an avid Tampa Bay Rays Fan. She is survived by a son Gary Beaudet of WV; daughters Cheryl Stumpf (Ken) Clearwater, Betty Berry (Stephen) Zephyrhills, and Debra Swenson (Bill) Dunedin; daughter-in-law Gail Beaudet WV; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by husband Emile and grandson Patrick Reynolds. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011, at 2 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Bay Pines National Cemetery. Memorial contributions for Mrs Beaudet may be made to a charity of choice.
