Clara KARNS Obituary
93, St. Petersburg, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015. She was born in Geiger, AL as the oldest of 10 children to Andrew Jackson Eaves and Julia Lunsford Eaves. Clara moved to St. Petersburg in 1949, from Lakeland, Fl. She was a Registered Nurse well known for her compassionate spirit. As an active member of First Church of the Nazarene of Pinellas Park, Clara ministered to the elderly and shut-ins for many of her retirement years. She is survived by two sons, Henry Hoyt (Cynthia) Fallin of Englewood, David A. (Nancy) Fallin of Pinellas Park; four sisters, Alien Ritts of Tuscaloosa, AL, Maggie Hayes of Tuscaloosa, AL, Peggy Tech of Boaz, AL, Nancy (Marvin) Carter of Mobile, AL; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Clara Jean Nussey; three husbands; one brother; and four sisters. A public visitation will be held at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home Monday, Aug. 10, 10-11 am, with Funeral Services to follow at 11 am. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
