MOSGROVE, Reverend Elsie Louise

(Meyer), 83, of St. Petersburg, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 10, 2015. She was born Jan. 11, 1932 in Walpole, MA to Werner Douglas Meyer and Amy M. (Lawson) Meyer. Elsie was one of three daughters; her sisters, Irene Meyer and Marie Laidlaw preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Florida since 1967. Elsie retired in February of 1997 as a social worker for the State of Florida. She also had been a minister and retired from The Church of the Nazarene in May, 2000. Elsie was an active member of the St. Petersburg Christian Women's Club, had been selected for Who's Who Among American Women of 1981 and 1982, as well as selected for Who's Who Among Women of the South, 1983. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Rev. Ralph W. Mosgrove (Ret.); her son, Reed W. Mosgrove and his wife Lisa; grandsons, Ryan W. and Kyle A. Mosgrove.
