JoAnn FUNK Obituary
81, of Seminole, died at home surrounded by family Sept. 21, 2016. She earned her Master's and her Doctorate of Christian Counseling and was ordained a minister in the Church of the Nazarene in 1997. She served as the assistant pastor of counseling with the Church and most recently taught Bible classes in her community. She wrote a book, The Winning Side which was published in the late 1990s. Helping others was a passion she held for her entire life. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Noah; her children, Vicki, Paul, and, Michael; stepchildren, Sharon, Susan, Dianne, and Nancy; grandchildren, Michael, Amy, Joshua, and Matt; and a sister, Mary Jane Lee. A memorial service will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Seminole, Saturday, Sept. 24, at 4 pm.
