God picked me for you and you for me. He brought me into our family, filled my heart with your loving eyes, your gentle touch, and your warm smile that could have only come from him. He allowed it to continue for the 54 years I have been here on this earth, until the day he sent his only son to take you by the hand and lead you home to your father in heaven. I will miss you and everything about you. I will miss your wisdom, laugh, smile, twinkling eyes, the sound of your soothing voice, and so much more. I am sure that sometimes you probably thought that I was not listening, but I was. I am so glad that you always felt that you could count on me. It gave me great pleasure to help you. You were never a burden to me and it always hurt me that sometimes I could not be there for you but we always found a way to work it out. Even now, in your greatest hour of need, I am so grateful that I can help you. I would have sacrificed all that I had to do this for you, because you sacrificed so much for all of us. I know the hardships you endured with your health and the heartaches you had for others that you could not help. No, we were not rich with money but we survived. We were however, rich with the love that no money could ever buy. There are so many fond moments and memories. As the days go by and our hearts start to mend, we can share some of our fondest memories of you. I pray that the Lord our God, gives to each of us in need, the courage, strength, and faith in him to help us through this time of great heartache and sorrow.
Your loving grandson,
Ricky
