BARNES, Annie E. "Ba-Ba" passed awy on Friday, March 21, 2014. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29, 1 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Seminole Heights Congregation, 1901 Giddens Ave. Tampa. She was born April 18, 1915 in Vienna, GA. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Seminole Heights Congregation. She enjoyed preaching the good news about Jehovah's Kingdom, cooking. canning, sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Willie Barnes and two sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories with children, Lillie B. Davis and John Henry Barnes; grandchildren, Feementha (James) Huggins and Vandall M. Smith Sr.; great-grandchildren, LaShawnda Smith, Clifton Smith, Jimmeka Huggins, Vandall Smith Jr., Joel Smith and James A. Huggins II; 17 great-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; nieces, Hiawatha Mekenzie, Hope Hill, Paulette Hare, Dorothy (Leroy) Miller, Mary Lizzie of Bryomville, Georgia, Mildred Harper and Betty Martin; nephews, Fred of Bryomville, Georgia, Harold Barnes, Frederick D. Barnes, Jesse Greene and Walter Greene; cousin, Katie Hutchinson; special friends and all of her spiritual family at Seminole Height Congregation. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 28th from 5 - 8 pm. The family will receive friends from 6 - 7 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Kingdom Hall, 1901 E. Giddens Avenue for the memorial service on Saturday.
