BARGA, Benjamin Ellis died Monday, Jan. 14, under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. Born in Bradford, OH, he came to New Port Richey in 1945, and had resided in Spring Hill since 1975. He served in both the US Army and Navy. He traveled throughout Europe during his six years in the Navy, and had many stories of those years to share with his family. He retired from General Telephone in 1983 after 23 years of service, and enjoyed television, puzzles, and visiting with family during his retirement. Predeceased by his brother, Buddy J. Barga; and sister, Enid Eileen Carr. Survived by his brother, Ted Wayne Barga (Claudia), Spring Hill; sisters, Viola Croft and Linda Pierce, both of New Port Richey; his children, Becky Glasbrenner (Larry) of Brooksville, Benjamin Barga (Linda) of Simpsonville, SC, Dennis Barga of Masaryktown, Pat Barga, New Port Richey, Cynthia Maksymkow (Tom), Hudson, Wenda Toohey (Butch), Spring Hill; grandchildren, Andrew Glasbrenner, Benjamin Barga, Kathleen Houston, Chad Toohey, Chelsa Toohey, Marisa Maksymkow, Jeffrey Maksymkow; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
