Not sure what to say?

I want to send my deepest sympathies to Brian's family. Brian was one of my closest friends in high school, and I am shocked and saddened that he has passed. Unfortunately, we lost touch after the first couple years of college. He was always very kind, intelligent, and philosophical. Whenever I hear a song by ACDC, Rush, or The Doors, I immediately think of Brian. I have many memories with Brian, from going to the Sadie Hawkins dance in 10th grade, to going to the ACDC concert with Brian and Billy, to his Dad taking us to see Rocky Horror Picture Show. On another occasion, a group of us, about 10 people, went out for pizza. We inadvertently left without paying. Although there was no way that the pizza place would have ever been able to track us down, Brian went back a few days later and paid the bill. He was a very special, unique individual. From reading the entries on this site, it sounds like his life was filled with many friends, co-workers, and family. I always thought we would eventually re-connect and be able to catch up on our lives. I'm very sad that I will not get that chance. May he rest in peace knowing that he will be missed by all who knew him.

I have a heavy heart today. I will be saying goodbye and paying my respects to my cousin, Brian. He was more of a little brother to me, but not the bratty kind....one with the most amazing smile that lit up his face and the room. When he smiled at me (even as an adult) I could feel the love and respect he felt. It warmed my heart every single time whether it was every other weekend growing up or every 2-5 years as adults. Distance never mattered. The moment I saw his smile, it was like no time had passed since the last hug of the previous visit. I will miss him. The earth seems different without him in it. Dimmer. But I will always have our childhood memories of tag and hide-n-seek (he was the worst at hiding, always forgetting to hide his legs with the rest of his body!) or seeing him giggle when he was really little. Rest in peace, Brian.... you will always be in my heart and in my thoughts.

There is no words that will convey the deep sorrow one feels when losing such an important person. Hopefully some comfort can be found knowing 1 person could touch so many lives in such a positive way in so short a time. Our deepest sympathy to JoAnn and all of Brian's family.

I WILL EVER BE SO GRATEFUL THAT I WAS WITH BRIAN AND MONICA THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE HE PASSED ON. I REMEMBER SO CLEARLY HIS "HEY, DADDY" WHEN I FIRST TALKED TO HIM WHILE HE WAS HERE.

AND I REMEMBER HIS EMAIL A FEW MONTHS EARLIER WHEREIN HE SAID HE OFTEN LIT "JESUS CANDLES", AND THAT HE EXPLAINED TO HIS CHILDREN WHY.

I RECEIVED A SYMPATHY CARD THAT STATED, "ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL LAST FOREVER, KEPT WITHIN SWEET MEMORY".

THAT IS SO TRUE.

I have known Brian for many years as our Oticon rep in the Buffalo area. My heart is heavy hearing of a life taken from us much too soon. My beautiful son Brian was taken from us too soon.He had an infectious smile and laugh. He loved his son and daughter dearly. They were his pride and joy. He also loved and cherished his brother Billy. Two brothers could not have been closer. He loved Monica with a passion that grew strong every day over the last 10 years. He loved Monica's children - Abbie & Tucker, and their 2 dogs. Monica made him so happy. My son's last words to me at the Tampa airport last Thursday were "don't cry Ma, I will be back soon." I love my Brian with a passion. I will miss him everyday and I will think of him everyday. Love- Ma (JoAnn Register of Lutz, Fl.)

He had an infectious laugh and spirit that will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go out to Brian's loved ones. May you rest in peace, Brian.

Although I hadn't seen Brian in many years, he was truly a wonderful part of my high school and college life. When I saw the Tom Petty album on his FB page, I smiled, because I remember the day in ninth grade when he first shared TP's music with me. I still love TP to this day. Sincere sympathies to his family and friends.

May the memories of all the joy he brought bring you comfort.

To Brian's children - I wish there were words I could say that would lessen your pain. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, he loved you deeply and was so proud to be your dad. What a difficult year 1013 has been for Brian, Monica and Brian's children. How different 2012 was when I was the trainer for the Northeast and Brian and I travelled together. I met his kids and was very impressed with his love for them but also their intelligence, maturity and love for him. He and Monica exemplified the kind of self-less love for each other that we don't see very often.
If we could only turn back the clock. I'll miss you Brian.

Brian was not just a colleague of mine but a friend as well. Right now Brian is happy and for the first time in a very long time pain free. That is why my concern is for those of us left to suffer with the loss of seeing him on a regular bases, it's those I offer my sincere hope and prayers that hearts will mend with the knowledge of how Brian is feeling for the first time in a while.

To those of us who know him knew of his love for his son, Monica and the extended Oticon family weather that is a employee or customer. That's what I truly believe was the order of Brain's love and my personal prayers are to those, in that order that you will NEVER not feel his love as you go through life without him here with you.

To Brian's son and to you Monica I extend my personal love, hope and prayers that at any time as you continue your life's journey you may not only draw on Brain's love for you but ALWAYS feel his love in your soul!
