Carlisle was a very good stepfather; as a matter of fact he was the only father some of us knew. I will miss him and I look forward to seeing him again in that great getting up morning. Rest from your weary old friend, we will meet again.

Carlisle was a good parent and friend. Always giving encouraging words and good advice. I miss him and look forward to seeing him again one day.

Carlisle unselfishly extended himself to his family and friends and he was kind to strangers. He always wanted to make sure anyone that came to his home was well-fed and comfortable. He had a great laugh that we all will miss. I cannot tell the story for all his loved ones but I know - without a doubt - EVERYONE OF US will truly and certainly miss him. I am hoping we conduct our lives according to the love of God so that we may be able to meet him again one day.
