Carol DiMaria Obituary

DiMARIA, Carol S. 82, passed away at Mease Countryside Hospital on Thursday, June 2nd, 2011. She was born and resided in Buffalo, NY until moving to Florida in 1989. While employed, she was a New York State teacher's aide. Locally, she was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, where she acted as a greeter and usher. She was predeceased in 2004, by her beloved husband of 54 years, Sebastian. She was a loving mother, survived by her two daughters, Linda Markiewicz, West Seneca, NY, Ann Kelly, Syracuse, NY; son, Richard DiMaria, Rochester, NY, and 8 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, June 6th at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor. So sorry to hear about your Mom. We were best friends all through High School and what a surprise to find that she lived less than mile from where we now live in Florida. I did have the pleasure of going out to lunch with her a few years ago, now sorry we didn't get together more often. My prayers are with you at this sad time.
