Charles Anastasio Obituary

ANASTASIO, Charles 91 of New Port Richey, passed away on Nov. 12, 2011. Born on Dec. 1, 1919 in New York, NY, he moved to Florida in 1975. Charles served in the Navy during WWII. He retired as Fire Captain for FDNY after 29 years of service. Charles was an avid golfer and enjoyed being surrounded by his loving family especially Sunday morning breakfast. Charles was a devoted husband of 67 years to, Theresa who passed away in April. Also preceded in death by parents Alfonso and Josephine, brothers Frank and Edward. Survived by children, Charles (Flora), Joseph (Sophie), Lucille (James) Stalton; grandchildren, Chad, Sinead, Sean, Teri and Michael; great-grandchildren, Shea, Kyle and Maggie; brothers, Victor and Richard; many sisters and brothers-in laws; nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at St. James the Apostle Church at 11 am on Tuesday Nov. 15th. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local Animal Shelter.
