CUFF, Dennis 69, passed away July 18, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia (Aloia) Cuff. Dennis was a devoted father of 5 children, Dr. Derek Cuff (Silke), Devin Cuff, Dalen Cuff, Dayna Cuff Coleman (Matt), and Darin Cuff and was also blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren. Dennis was born in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Duquesne University where he was a standout player on their post season winning varsity basketball team. He graduated from Duquesne University School of Pharmacy, and became a licensed pharmacist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Upon discharge in 1970, Dennis began his pharmacy career at the Thrift Drug division of the J.C. Penney Company. Over his 32 year career, he accepted assignments of ever increasing responsibility and leadership. His advancements in operations, administration, and human resources, include store manager, staff senior pharmacist district manager, regional manager, regional vice president, and senior vice president culminating in his retirement from J.C. Penney in 2001. ln retirement, Dennis enjoyed traveling with his wife and family, being a doting grandfather for his 6 grandchildren, and playing golf with his many friends. ln lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Suncoast Hospice, 2675 Tampa Road, Palm Harbor, FL 34684, or Metropolitan Ministries, 2OO2 North Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33602. Dennis will be sorely missed by those that knew and loved him, his family and many friends. He was a blessing to all and his was a life that was well lived.
