Don Allison

ALLISON, Don 77, of Largo, died May 12th, 2011, following a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Allison was born on June 6, 1933, in Springfield, OH. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War until 1955. More than anything, Don loved his wife of over 55 years, Patti. They spent many memorable years together, enjoying their family, the beach, and traveling the world. Don's second love was sports. For the past 15 years he served as a certified member of the ASA National Umpire's Association as well as a high school fast pitch softball tournament umpire across the state of Florida. Don is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters Kim Silva and Kristi Allison; grandchildren, Allison Silva, Amberlie Silva, Seth Allison and Thomas Freeman.
