BAXTER, Elizabeth J. "Betty" 90, passed away peacefully on Aug. 27, 2012, at her home in Aston Gardens, Sun City Center, FL. She was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, and was married in 1948 to Robert E. "Bob" Baxter, who preceded her in death in 1981. They lived in Hammond and Munster, Indiana until she moved to Sarasota in 1983, where she lived for 28 years. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Alice (John) Czerwonka of Parrish F; her grandsons, Christopher of Miami Beach and Scott (Chrissie) of Wilmington, DE; her great-granddaughter Grace Elizabeth of Wilmington; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Baxter of Aventura, FL; extended family and countless friends. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard R. Baxter. A Memorial Mass will be held 11 am, Thursday, Aug. 30 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center, FL. She will be buried by her husband in Schererville, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, Fl 33573.
