ROCA, Emilio 83, a son, brother, uncle, father, and loyal friend has departed to a happy and heavenly place on Nov. 27, 2012. Free of his ailing shell and confusion, he ascends to be by our Lord's side and his beloved wife and family. He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Marie, and his reason for being, Michele, his NYC girl; and his son, Anthony, a major piece of work; his successful grandsons, Michael and Julian; his sister, Petra Suter (the little general) and the Taylor family; his sister, Carmen Coca (the free spirit) and the Rosado family; and his brother Felix Roca (the little brother) and his family. He was raised in New York City where he was known as "Sonny". He was always a bright spot in everyone's life. He owned Advanced Pest Control for many years and was a partner in Ferraro & Roca Contracting, but his ultimate dreams came true upon moving to the Tampa Bay area and finding employment with Saddlebrook Golf and Tennis Resort. An avid golfer (nine a day and eighteen on Sunday), he had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and befriended many of them. He was a happy man. He retired after more than 20 years of service. "Siempre en la lucha y mal pagado. Murio contento con su familia arrededor." Special thanks to Robert & Fernando, Kathy, and the staff at Marliere Hospice Care Center. Services Dec. 9th, 2-4 pm at Blount and Curry, 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: HPH Hospice, 37445 Clinton Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525 or Marliere Hospice Care Center, 6801 Rowan Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653 in memory of Emilio Roca.
