BROWN, Helen E. "Tootie" age 75, of Palm Harbor, passed away Nov. 14, 2012. Helen, a native of Dayton, OH, moved to Westlake Village in 1977, where she lived for 35 years. At 20, Helen moved to New York City where she was an Executive Secretary with RCA records, a professional model and dancer in the U.S. and Canada. At 29, Helen married the love of her life, Phillip Brown. She was the family photographer, loved animals and treated Greystoke, her cat, like a family member. Tootie genuinely loved people, making friends and touching hearts wherever she went. She attended New Testament Church of Brandon. She will always be remembered, cherished and greatly missed. Finally, she was never, ever, on time. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip. She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchild Holly Brown, Mark Pierce, and Adeline Pierce of Rochester, NY: sister and brother-in-law, Kathy & Paul Sprague of Lithia: 6 nieces, 1 nephew, 8 grand-nieces, 5 grand-nep-hews, a great-grand-niece and a great-grand-nephew. Family will receive friends 10-11 am at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Clearwater Friday, Nov. 23rd. Funeral services will begin immediately following visitation at 11 am.
