SCOVAZZO, Joseph 82, of Spring Hill, passed away Feb. 14, 2013 at HPH Hospice Care Center. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to Florida 31 years ago from Queens, NY. Joseph retired from real estate, and furthered his retirement with the things he enjoyed. He wrote 2 children's books including "Herman The Indian Runner." Joseph also had skills in carpentry and made many pieces of furniture; had a nice collection of stained glass and also loved his 3 cats along with raising many ducks over the years. Joe was a very social fellow and well-known to his neighbors for his unique sense of humor. He had a fall in his home on Jan. 29, 2013 and suffered a broken neck, passing two weeks later from these injuries. Per his wishes, there will be no ceremonies, memorials, or visitations. Joe will be missed by all who knew him and forever memorialized in the heart of his only child, Joanne Mohrmann. He is survived by his daughter, Joanne Mohrmann & son-in-law, Kevin G.
