A beautiful lady now graces heaven. I always admired her strength and courage. Charlotte, my prayers are with you and your family. Your mom will be missed.

I will miss her beautiful smile, phone calls , and our lunches together. I am so thankful that God allowed our paths to reconnect these past five years. She shared with me things about my Mom and my grandparents that I would never have known had our paths not reconnected. We would drive around Tarpon and 'remember--the way it used to be'. That was always fun! She was my Mom's good friend---they lived across the street from each other. My mom named me after her--she would introduce me as her god daughter!! I liked that! she did my hair for my wedding 45 years ago-where does time go?? She loved you all so very much. Oh yes, I will miss being with her at the recital on the 17th--I always looked forward to that--I will still be there, and will be bringing my granddaughter , Katie with me. I'm sad too that Joyce didn't get to see Katie with her braces-- she was always concerned regarding her teeth!!! She would love them now. Know that I am there today in heart and spirit and we all know she is in a beautiful place , at peace and we will see her again one day. Love, Hugs and prayers to you, Charlotte and family, Petra and family, Greg and Lynn, and brother E.Z. Joyce B. Strickland

Our thoughts, prayers and love go out to everyone. Even though we weren't related by blood, she will always be Aunt Joyce to me. Charlotte, Petra, if there is anything at all we can do for you, please call.
