TROTTER, Leatrice M. 88, entered eternal rest on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013. Born Oct. 27, 1924 in Kane, PA she was raised in Jamestown, NY. After graduation from high school Leatrice served with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the fingerprint division. She married C. Lester Trotter, a former Assistant Director of the FBI, in Nov. of 1945 and resided in Forest Heights, MD. In 1970 Leatrice and her husband retired to Treasure Island. She was an avid cook and enjoyed crossword puzzles, boating and volunteer work. Leatrice was an honorary member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI - Suncoast Chapter, former member of the Pilot's Club and volunteered for the American Lung Association. From 2006 until her passing, she resided at Lake Seminole Square where she developed and enjoyed many friendships. Leatrice was preceded in death by her husband, C. Lester and her brother, Wayne. She is survived by her sons, Charles L. (Monica), Mark A. (Marilyn), and Gregory L.; grandchildren Charles III, Megan & Morgan. A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 1 pm in the chapel at the National Cremation Society, 4945 E Bay Drive, Clearwater. A private interment with her husband in rest, at Memorial Park Cemetery will follow the service.
