Leonard Albert Baptist

BAPTIST, Leonard Albert 76, passed away on May 19, 2011 at Westchester Rehabilitation Center in Oldsmar. Leonard was born in Niles, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Ruth Baptist and brother, Bruce Baptist. He is survived by his brother, Joseph Baptist; his nephews, Mark Baptist, Terry Baptist; nieces, Andrea Dixon, Joelle Dalby; and a number of great-nieces and nephews. Leonard had a great passion for his family, a love for coaching baseball and was proud of the businesses he owned throughout his life. His friends and family will remember him as fiercely loyal, caring and independent. We will all miss "Uncle". A grave site service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 12 noon at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery on Sunset Point Rd in Clearwater.
