Leroy Bryant Obituary

BRYANT, Leroy 84, of Palm Harbor passed away May 23, 2011. He leaves behind the love of his life whom he loved and cherished with all his soul for over 56 years, Maria; son, Michael; and daughter, Doris Maggiacomo. He was known to his 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson as Poppy. He was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy with over 23 years of service, he also retired in 1989 as the Director of Public Works in Westchester, PA and moved to Florida. He resided in Highland Lakes and loved to golf and travel. He was a man that placed his family above all else and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be private with burial to take place at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice or to the Alzheimer's Association. The family has entrusted Curlew Hills Funeral Home with his arrangements. www.curlewhills.com

Maria Leroy is with God now and there is no more suffering for him. You were a fabulous couple and I enjoyed the times we have had together on the golf course. Your spirit uplifts us all.
