HEALEY, Martha Garwick died on Aug. 14, 2013, at Westminster Suncoast Retirement Community in St. Petersburg. She was 89 years old. She was born on Nov. 3, 1923 in Ada, OH, to Ferd and Vera Garwick. She married her beloved husband Norman Bradford Healey on June 7, 1943 in Ada Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death Feb. 15, 1985. She is survived by two daughters, Roberta Healey (Ellen Jahn) of West Chester, PA, Stephanie Healey of St. Petersburg; granddaughter, Amelia Garbisch (Michael Dudley) of Philadelphia, PA; and dear friend, Carol Jones of St. Petersburg. Martha and Norm moved to St. Petersburg in 1975. Martha moved to Westminster Shores in 2001 where she enjoyed a full and active life. She moved to the Westminster Suncoast Nursing Center in 2012. She was a homemaker and ordained Deacon in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Services will be held at the Blackburn Chapel of Westminster Shores, 139 56th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, on Monday, Aug. 19th. The family will receive visitors at 9:30 am, with a memorial service to follow at 10 am. Guests are encouraged to wear red, white and blue, the colors she loved!
