Rut was a distant relative of mine. I was sorry to read of his passing. We spoke many times on the phone discussing family relationships and the closeness of our fathers and grandparents.
My sympathy to his family members.

To my long distance cousins,

We will all miss Rut. Mom always spoke of him, was thrilled when they chatted on the phone, and so very touched that he, Pete and Tom drove up for her 90th birthday.
Your Dad will be in my prayers.
