In Sept, Mike was in the care of Suncoast Hospice and had the joy of working with a wonderful nurse named Annie Ryan. Her goal was to keep Mike pain free and not to dwell on his dying. One day I asked Mike if he was angry that he knew he was dying and he said, "No Mom, I'm just so grateful for the extra 9 and a half years I had.
