Robert J. BOVA

Obituary

BOVA, Robert J. passed away on June 9, 2013. He was a veteran and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Independence "The Mighty I", and also served in Washington, D.C. during the Korean Conflict. After receiving his BS from the University of Florida, he moved to Tampa where he was a CPA with several accounting firms before opening his own firm in 1975. Robert was an avid golfer and member of Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club. He was also a loyal Gator and devoted Yankee fan. Robert is survived by his loving bride of 20+ years, Nancy; his son, Robert Jr.; daughter, Mary Elyse Weiss; step son, Nathan Datsko; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Holland, Brianna Wilson, Anthony Datsko and Savanna Datsko; and six great-grandchildren; & sister-in-law, Frances Davis; and nieces, Susie Lee & Katie Jane Davis. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother-in-law, Eva Nowalk. Robert now rests in peace with Jesus Christ, his Lord, Savior and friend.
