Grandpa-

Not a day goes by without me thinking about you, and missing you.

Where you used to be, there is a hole in the world, which I find myself constantly walking around in the daytime, and falling in at night. Sometimes, when one person is missing, the whole world seems depopulated.

I love you. Forever and Always. LOVE

Grandpa/Pop Pop,

I know it's been several months now since you have been in Heaven, but my pain has not lessened any. It's not getting any easier. Tears are flooding my face as I write this. I miss you more than words can express. You were not only my Grandpa, but my best friend. You were always there for me. I admired you and looked up to you so much. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. So many memories keep replaying in my head...from playing nintendo, trips to the bank, sitting on your lap in your brown chair as you sipped on your coffee and told me stories and taught me some of the most important lessons in life. This still feels like a nightmare and I will soon wake up. The bond we shared cannot be explained to anyone. There will always be an empty void in my heart. Your memory will live on forever. I can't wait to reunite with you in Heaven someday. At least I know I have the best guardian angel watching over me. You are my strength. I love you more than words can say.

Uncle John, My fondest memory of you was when you were visiting from Florida and I just happened to go over to Al and Maria's house in Rocky Point. That was August of 1999. I was there to ask Al for Darlene's hand in marraige. I was very happy that you were there for that. It was a very special moment and it was then that I realized that I would forever be part of the Mokson family. You were so happy and welcomed me. When I visited down in Florida, playing golf with you was a lot of fun (especially when you busted your brothers chops non stop.) We will all miss you and hope that you are happy and shooting par, with the occasional birdie.

Dear Uncle John,
I can't believe that you are gone. You were such a wonderful man. Your passing leaves a void that no one will be able to fill. When I think of you I think of many things but I usually first recall the many visits to your home in Ronkonkoma and how we used to slide down the stairs and how you used to tell us all to knock it off. Our family trips to Virginia when we were young and how you used to talk to my Dad from your truck over the CB radio. I loved watching you and my Dad together and how you both acted like such great brothers, there was so much love there. I know that you are in peace now, the golf greens are perfectly manicured, the bowling lanes are perfectly oiled, and you are with those who you love who have gone before you. Say hi to everyone for us and may you rest in peace. I love you!

Uncle John,

I will never forget you! You always were there to give me the advice I was searching. You were the only one that believed that I could achieve my Law Enforcement goals. I knew you truly meant it too. My husband, Chris, also grew to love you just as much as I do. You two shared many stories of the “old times” together. You seemed so happy to share them with someone that had been there. I know you are in Heaven, playing golf. I wish we could have played together. You will be truly missed here on Earth, but we all know you are pain free and loving it in Heaven. I Love you, Uncle John! Love Dawn Marie and Chris Atkinson

Daddy,
I still can't believe your really gone. You are the most amazing father and the best grandpa anybody could ever ask for. I will miss you so very much....I will never forget the "hello daughter" when you answered the phone, the "what smells so good!" as you lift up the cover on the stove, and the "I didn't give him anything!" as you fed the dogs under the table. I will never forget your most beautiful blue eyes and your big bear hugs. You always had time to rock the babies and get down on the floor to play with them all. And not to forget, your sense of humor. You have enriched my life in so many ways. Remember my father...my daddy...my love, I will love and miss you forever and ever. Rest in peace and comfort my sweet angel. And I know, we will meet again. I love you daddy.
