BORAIKO, Benjamin J., , 98, died on January 27, 2014, at James A Haley VA Hospital. He was a WWII Army veteran who served in India and Burma. Born in Winnipeg, Canada, January 24, 1916, Ben grew up in Ruskin, FL. He graduated from Wimama High School and attended the University of Tampa. From farmer to mechanic, he was a 4th Degree Knight and a long time member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. He enjoyed classical music, boxing in his younger years, and always a good laugh. He is survived by his older sister, Frances M. Noble of Tampa and a younger brother, Carl Boraiko (Carol) of Las Vegas, many nieces and nephews both grand, great and great-great grand, as well as friends in Tampa, Pennsylvania and Texas.
