LICHT, Otto Ferdinand 95, of Largo, passed peacefully at his home on Feb. 5, 2014. Predeceased by his siblings, Carl (Shirley) and Arlene (Donald) Jackson. Otto is survived by his wife, Angela; brothers, William, George, and Robert (Elizabeth); daughter, Cynthia (Joe) Tully; sons, Mark (Brenda) and Matthew; stepson, Glenn (Bonny) Graber; stepdaughter, Sandra (Blake) Cochrane; grandchildren, Tristan, Adam, Corey and Chelsea; stepgrand-children, Katlin, Thomas, Cara, Megan and Hunter. Dad was born to German immigrants in Geistown, PA. He received a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama. Soon thereafter, Dad volunteered in World War II and served as a naval pilot in the Pacific and Asia. Upon returning from war, he put his mechanical engineering degree to good use and raised our family. He loved his work and continued working as an engineering consultant until the age of 80. He enjoyed traveling, sports, cooking, and the wilderness. Dad was most passionate when it came to traveling off the beaten path. He visited many remote, exotic lands around the world.
