WILLIAMS, Harold R. Sr. "Pretty Boy" Born Sept. 20, 1938 in Indian Rock Beach, to the late Otto and Estelle McEachern Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Brown Williams, and brother Donald McEachern. Harold graduated from Gibbs High School in 1957. He attended Gibbs Junior College for 1 year then transferred to Bethune Cookman College where he graduated in 1962 with a major in Elementary Education. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1962 & served 2 years with one being in Korea. He was honorable discharged in 1964. In 1963, Harold married Edith Brown and to this union two sons were born, Harold Robert Williams Jr. and Bari S. Williams. Harold Sr. chose as a career to become a teacher. He served 32 years in the Pinellas County Public School System and retired from Campbell Park Elementary in 1997. He was an Alu-mni of Bethune Cookman University, a member of Jordan Park Association, and a member of the Retiree Resource Center. He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Harold Williams Jr. (Trinette), Bari Williams (Anita), both of St. Petersburg; a brother, Preston McEachern (Dana), of New Britton, CT; sisters, Sandra Thimas (Henry), Valerie McEachern, of Atlanta, GA; one brother-in-law, Dr. Ernest Brown of Oakland, CA; two sisters-in-law, Doris Brown and Carol Myles both of St. Petersburg; aunts, Queenie Williams of St. Petersburg, and Anceline Williams of Darlington, SC; ten grandchildren; four great-grand-children; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation is Friday with wake services 7-8 pm, at New Faith Memorial Church, 2427 Irving Ave., funeral services on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 1 pm, at Bethel Metropolitan Church, 3455 26th Avenue South.
