ROBINSON, Lillian Demas Nesbitt, of Lakeland, age 94, a loved and devoted mother, a grandmother, and great-gran-dmother, passed away peacefully Feb. 10, 2014. She was the middle child of Louis Harry and Hattie Demas born on Oct. 22, 1919. She grew up in a Christian environment and received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She received her formal education from Oakwood Preparatory School in Huntsville, AL, and later graduated from Washington Park High School in Lakeland. She was a License Practical Nurse and served 25 years in the Health Care Profession. She was known as the community nurse of the "Black Bottom"when they called she answered. Lillian entered into Holy Matrimony to the late Jesse Nesbitt in 1938 and from that union was born six children, the late Yvonne Melton, Myrtle Williams, Jesse Nesbitt Jr., Leontine Butler, Harold Nesbitt and Donas Nesbitt. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday at Zion Hill Mortuary, 1700 49th Street S., St. Petersburg, and from 10 am-noon, Friday morning at Ewing Memorial Seventh-Day Adventist Church, at 1201 N.
