BEDINGHAUS, Mary Stella Hoelker 88, peacefully passed away March 10, 2014 surrounded by her family, at St. Anthony's Hospital. Mary, born May 26, 1925, in Cincinnati, OH, was the second of five children born to Helen and Ed Hoelker. She graduated from Mount St. Joseph College and worked as a lab technician at Good Sam's Hospital until she married William H. Bedinghaus, April 29, 1950. After selling Bedinghaus Business Forms, Bill and Mary retired, with their nine children, to St. Petersburg in 1970. In between raising their family, they enjoyed sailing, and were members of Boca Ciega Yacht Club for many years. They also enjoyed traveling across country and frequent visits to their extended family in Cincinnati. Mary was a devoted member of Blessed Trinity Church and served as a Eucharistic minister. Mary was preceded in death by daughter, Jenny. She is survived by her husband Bill, sons Bill, Jim (Eileen), David (Kim), Bob (Sue), and Paul (Hon. Susan P.); and daughters Sr. Ruth Bedinghaus, S.N.D., Mary Rae "Raes" Williams (Rob), and Angel Zent (Sherman). Mary is also survived by 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Ed and Bill Hoelker; and many nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved. Her family is extremely grateful for the love and care she received from the hospital staff during her long stay. Funeral Mass will be 1 pm Saturday, March 15, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 1600 54th Ave. So. Burial to follow at Royal Palm South Cemetery.
