RANSOM, Frances Creelman age 89, of Clearwater, and recently of Atlanta, GA, passed away March 10, 2014. Frankie & her husband, Harry, lived in Clearwater until his passing in 2006. Frankie is survived by her twin sons, Christopher and Parker Ransom of Kent, OH, and Atlanta, GA, respectively. Her sons, grandchildren, Sydney and Stuart Ransom; her many nieces, nephews and extended family will miss her profoundly. Sister to Eleanor & Elizabeth Creelman, Frankie was born and grew up in Pittsburgh. She went on to attend and graduate from Carnegie Institute of Technology and to a life as a caring wife, mother and homemaker to her family. She leaves dear friends and treasured memories in the many places she lived: Texas, Mexico, North Carolina, Florida and Georgia. Her warmth, love and ever-present compassion touched all who met her. She was a gifted artesian & craftsperson, loving to cook, knit, garden and tackle the toughest jigsaw puzzle. She loved westerns. And the color purple! A memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, March 18, at the Church of the Ascension in Clearwater.
